Unused Universal model EV1000 filling line. Designed for 10ml & 30ml glass bottles up to 25 units per minute with pipette caps. The line includes the following:

(1) Universal Posimatic EV bottle handling module as follows:
Stainless steel compact chassis:
(750mm wide guard) fabricated in 50mm box section 304 stainless steel the chassis provides a stable robust base for all other elements of the machine to be mounted from.
The chassis has self-levelling jacking feet providing height adjustment and a safe stable base when in operation.
A sealed stainless steel sump is incorporated into the chassis to collect and minimise any spillage.
Conveyor:
Variable speed slat chain conveyor system constructed in stainless steel 5.3m metres long x 110mm wide.
Able to handle a wide range of container sizes from 20mm diameter up to 100mm diameter using tool free adjustable guide rails
Plastic (Delrin) slat chain
Inverter driven variable speed motor
Safety Guard:
Manufactured to meet CE requirements
Constructed in 25mm box section stainless steel tube. Clear Polycarbonate panels. Interlocked hinged door to the front of the machine, which remove and isolate all power on opening. Supplied with polycarbonate in-feed tunnels to restrict access to moving parts where necessary.
Operator Interfce:
Mounted on the side of the guard at eye level for ease of operator use.
IP55 rated stainless steel enclosure protects all electro/pneumatic components.
Simple robust operating buttons with start, stop, emergency stop and reset functions ideal for production environments.
A simple PLC/operator interface allows simple adjustment of variable settings
Control System:
Controlled by an Omron PLC all electro/pneumatic components are housed in an IP55 stainless steel cabinet mounted on the side of the machine.
A quick release multi-plug connector provides a connection from the bottle handling module to the filling pump
Container Gating:
Fully adjustable tool free inline gating system accommodates a wide range of containers without the need for additional change-parts. Fibre optic sensors count the containers into and out of the filling area providing a no bottle no fill function.
Short Stroke diving nozzle:
Top Filling – Fully adjustable for height to suit a wide range of container sizes. Ideal for vacuum filling or top filling via a volumetric filling pump the short stroke diving nozzle provides a simple cost effective solution for filling a wide range of non-foaming liquids. The nozzle dives into the neck of the container and fills from the top.
Nozzle Carrier:
Filling nozzles are supported in nozzle holders which are adjustable for height and pitch of bottle.
Neck locator:
Adjustable neck locators align the neck of the bottle with the filling nozzle
Drip tray:
Pneumatically operated drip tray catches any residue that may be left on the outside of the nozzle ensuring that liquid is not allowed to drip onto the containers.

(1) Universal Posimatic EV P1000 4 head rear filling chassis as follows:
4 head chassis:
Supplied as one single filling chassis fitted with four sets of parts to provide four head filling.
Each chassis is designed to take up to six filling heads meaning that the machine can very easily be upgraded in the future simply by purchasing and fitting additional cylinder and piston assemblies.
Portable chassis:
Each filling chassis is connected to the control system on the bottle handling module via a quick release pneumatic connector. This allows the chassis to be wheeled away from the line for cleaning or maintenance purposes.
Volume Range:
Fitted with 50ml metering cylinders to fill from 5ml to 50ml. Other cylinder sizes are available for this machine and can include:
10 – 100ml, 25 – 250ml, 50 – 500ml, 100 – 1000ml.

Adjustable fill volume:
Each chassis is fitted with a simple hand wheel located at the rear of the machine. The volume of all cylinders on the chassis is adjusted simultaneously with one adjustment. A simple linear scale is provided to indicate the volume being filled.
Variable Speed:
Simple pneumatic flow controllers allowing on the run speed adjustments for filling, charging and secondary speed are fitted onto the side of the rear filling chassis.
Ball & Spring valve block(s):
Designed for free flowing liquids this simple mechanism is ideal for a wide range of applications.
Filling Nozzles:
Standard nozzles manufactured to suit sample liquids and containers supplied.
Feed Manifold:
Machine is supplied with a manifold manufactured in 316 stainless steel which connects all four filling heads to a single outlet at the bottom of a bulk supply tank. (Bulk supply tank not included).

(1) Bulk hopper elevator as follows:
Construction:
General construction in stainless steel with a nylon flighted belt. Adjustable jacking feet are included to provide a safe and stable operating platform.
Automatic Stop Start:
A probe inside the vibratory bowl will activate a probe which starts and stops the elevator motor to ensure that a constant level of caps/pipettes is maintained.

(1) Vibratory cap feeder.
Designed & tooled to orientate and feed pipettes into a gravity feed chute.
Floor mounted stand:
Manufactured in stainless steel box section with adjustable jacking feet are included to provide a safe and stable operating platform.
Bowl Feeder:
600mm diameter vibratory bowl feeder tooled in order to orientate and feed pipette components. The pipettes to be finally presented to the bowl feeder outlet, selected in a single line and orientated hanging in rails with the glass tube down. The rate of feed to be a minimum of 30 per minute. The interior of the feed bowl to be coated with pharmaceutical grade polyurethane. The feeder to be supplied with a variable speed controller, suitable for operation from a standard single phase electrical supply.

(1) Universal Posicap automatic cap tightening machine as follows:

Gravity Chute:
Designed to transfer pipettes from the bowl feeder to the automatic pick & place.
Pick & Place:
A gating system stops the containers in the correct position on the conveyor where a second pick & place mechanism places the pipettes onto the filled bottles.
Cap Tightening:
Once pipettes have been placed a second gating system stops the bottle under the capping head where the cap is tightened.
Electric Torque Head:
Adjustable for speed and torque using potentiometers mounted on the control panel of the machine.
Height adjustable to suit a wide range of bottle sizes
Bottle Clamp:
A pneumatically operated bottle clamp is provided to stop the container spinning whilst the cap is being tightened. This includes one change part to suit two sizes of bottle.
