What is a Vacuum Shelf Dryer?

Vacuum tray or shelf drying is used in many processing industries including food processing, pharmaceutical, plastics manufacturing, ceramics and chemical processing.  These types of dryers use a lower and controlled temperature to dry the product, so they work well for products that are more heat sensitive.  Product is placed in trays and loaded onto the shelves.  Heat is circulated in the unit and the heat of the air removes the moisture from the material.
