What is a Spray Dryer?

A spray dryer machine is used to dry powder from a liquid.  The material is fed into the nozzle of the machine and dried using a hot gas, resulting in dried powder particles which fall to the bottom of the machine.  Spray dryers are used in the food, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and chemical production.
