Perry can offer a full mechanical refurbishment service on our used process equipment, to ensure the equipment meets your exact specification requirements. We have a team of experienced engineers and workshop facilities at our site in the UK, and where necessary we can send the unit back to the original equipment manufacturer.  See some examples of our refurbishment work, below.

Refurbishment Work From Perry

Used Battaggion Stainless Steel Jacketed Horizontal Ribbon Blender

This unit was refurbished at our UK site.  Here’s what we did:

  • Full strip down and fitting of new bearings and seals.
  • Jacket repair.
  • Shot blasting and painting of the mixing trough and framework including gearbox and motor.
  • Test run of the motor.

This unit was supplied with a three month warranty on replaced mechanical parts.


Used Niro Mobile Minor Stainless Steel Laboratory Spray Dryer

This unit was refurbished at our UK site.  Here’s what we did:

  • Electrical rewire.
  • New light.
  • New gaskets.
  • Frame work repaired.
  • New gauge and other gauges re-calibrated.
  • New rubber seals for air actuator.
  • New caster wheels for frame.
  • Mild steel parts painted.
  • Motors checked and test ran.
  • Heating elements rewired.
  • Re-clad in stainless steel.
  • New insulation.

This unit was refurbished at our UK site.  Here’s what we did:before-and-after

  • Tested the motor.
  • Spark tested the glass.
  • Pressure tested the jacket.

  • Supplied and fitted sleeve on Manway (To cover glass damage).
  • Removed mechanical seal.
  • Repaired mechanical seal and refitted.

  • Built wooden skid for transport.

Used Lodige Model KM 600D-3ZMZ 321 Stainless Steel Continuous Jacketed Ploughshare Mixer

This unit was refurbished at our UK site.  Here’s what we did:l1045 BEFORE AND AFTER

  • Fully stripped down the unit.
  • Shot blasted.
  • Cleaned.
  • Seals and packing replaced.
  • Repainted.
  • Re-assembled the unit.

Used Comber model Pharmadry PH2000 vacuum paddle dryer

AFTER

Refurbished Comber model Pharmadry PH2000 Vacuum Paddle Dryer

This unit was sent back to Comber who carried out the refurbishment work.  The most important tasks were:

  • Complete dismounting of the machine, agitator group and dust filter.
  • Dismounting of the existing riveted insulation.
  • New welded insulation of vessel and dust filter.
  • Control with penetrating liquids.
  • Hydraulic tests.
  • Overhaul of the discharge valve.
  • Re-finishing of all internal surfaces.
  • Sandblast and painting of the machine support basement.
  • Complete re-making of the electric installation.
  • External satinizing.
