Asset Disposal Requirements
Masons Paints, Derby, England
Perry was given the task of clearing the whole of Mason's production, laboratory and office areas due to the closure of their Derby operation. Perry marketed the equipment and successfully sold all the assets to companies in Germany, Yemen, Saudi Arabia and within the UK. The whole project was completed on time and within budget and matched Mason's agreed return.
Cenes, Irvine, Scotland
Perry purchased the whole drug delivery manufacturing facility from Cenes, Irvine. We carried out an initial private treaty sale of the equipment, which we then followed through with an auction sale. All items were sold and the site was successfully vacated.
Allied Distillers, Dumbarton, Scotland
Perry was asked by Allied Distillers to make sealed bids for equipment that was redundant to their requirements at their Dumbarton Distillery. Faced with strong competition, we were awarded all the major items. We then had to work with the approved site dismantling and demolition company to ensure the safe removal of all the items.
The equipment was transported as "out of gauge" loads to our Newton Aycliffe site to store until the clients were identified. Allied Distillers were delighted that the project was completed within the specified time scale and budget. Since the project's completion all the items from this deal have been sold to end-users in the UK, Ireland and Peru.
